Rylem is currently seeking contract-to-start Human Resources Assistants to join a global e-commerce company in Seattle.  This candidate will help with the implementation of HR policies, programs and services, and at times will assist with HR issues if they arise.  The role will work closely with established external vendors, community providers, and internal partners including Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Safety, HR, and managers, while still maintaining employee’s confidential information. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, along a strong customer service focus.


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years of Human Resource support     experience required
  • Experience using Human Resources     software (HRIS) or an candidate tracking system (ATS/CTS)
  • Must have a basic understanding of HR     functions: benefits, payroll, recruiting, training and development
  • Familiarity with processing I-9, W-2,     W-4, background checks or leave of absences
  • Problem solver, able to troubleshoot     issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability     and sound professional judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office     tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and     interpersonal communication.
